Supply List

I will supply all of the tapestry fabric for the class, and will have tassels for sale in the $5 range (my cost). I talked to Marva at the loft and she is well stocked for the class. There is no materials fee. Here are the supplies you need to bring.

1. Sewing machine (optional) I find hand construction to be faster.

2. 1 yard of muslin

3. Thread (dark brown and charcoal)

4. Quilting thread (any color)

5. Carpet/button thread

6. Scissors for cutting tapestry fabric

7. Clear Ruler

8. Small metal ruler with slide indicator (hemming ruler).

9. Embroidery needles, pins, sharps

10. Ribbons, fringe, trim, tassels. Color is not critical as we are learning technique. Bring colors you like and we will probably be able to match fabric to your goodies

12. Beads, buttons, fun stuff

13. Paper and pencil for notes

14. Lunch
