Meeting called to order by President Marilyn Limbaugh at 1:00 PM
Approximately 60 people were in attendance, many of them non- members. 3 guests were introduced.
Janet Windsor introduced the speaker for the day, Yvonne Porcella. The business meeting will follow her presentation. A sign up sheet was passed around for anyone who would like to sign up for a Quilt Group.
Following Yvonne Porcella, the business meeting commenced at 2:20 PM.
Programs: Janet Windsor: October 19...Comfort Quilt Workshop; November.....Margaret Taylor; December....Holiday Party
Next month registration will open for all classes for PPQG
Festival of Trees: It was urged that members continue making projects to sell. Luggage Tags instructions are available from Barbara Dunsmoor.
Comfort Quilts: Should be lap size 45 x 60.
Valor Quilts: Marilyn announced that they hope to send in a large number in November
Challenge 2008: Anna Hines said that 2/22 is the deadline. The topic is "I Found it in the Library". Instructions are on the web site.
Calendar '09: This may be a fundraiser. It will use male volunteers (nude) following the idea of "Calendar Girls."
Hospitality: Laura Hamilton needs sign ups for next month. Linda Warnock will bring cookies from AIR.
Library: Anna Hines reported 17 new book have been donated.

Show and Tell: 4
Bag o Stuff: Anita Kaplan presided over the showing of 25 of these projects. Most were very creative and received with positive comments.
President's Quilt: Lynne Atkins showed the block which she would like for her Quilt, as past president. She gave out directions for the block, an Ohio Star, and fabric for the center square. If you missed the meeting and would like to contribute to Lynne's quilt, contact her directly at
