The Ò350 ProjectÓ is a global quilting effort to bring awareness that carbon dioxide must be brought down to 350 parts per million for the earth to avoid environmental decline. Lola and Carol are looking for other interested parties. May 31st is the deadline to submit an entry form, including our theme and a group photo of participants.  Harmony Susalla has offered organic fabric, Carol is looking for recycled clothing. (FYI, not announced at meeting, but Sharon Malachowski has offered to machine quilt it for free using her solar- powered long arm machine.) Carol suggested we make a landscape of what we want the earth to look like, not what it may become.  Lola suggested houses with the number 350 on them.  All suggestions are welcome.

Meeting adjourned at 1:23 p.m.

Studio Tour: Laurie Mueller handed out maps after the business meeting.  A little more than half of the attendees carpooled in groups or drove alone to tour the studios of Mary Austin, Barbara Dunsmoor, Iris Lorenz-Fife, Janet Sears, Carol Tackett and Janet Windsor.
