Committee Reports:

Treasurer: Kalynn Oleson reported that we now have a balance of $22,685.13.

Secretary: the motion to approve the previous month's minutes was passed.

Membership: Gail Spencer reported that we have two new members for a total of 108.

Newsletter: Janet Windsor reminded us that the deadline is April 25.

Hospitality: Lola DeLongoria advised that we can now sign up to provide refreshments on the website, and urged members to do so.

Festival of the Trees: we were informed that the pattern of having a preview before the weekend of the sale will be repeated this year.

AIR Quilt: Janet Windsor estimated that it would be bound and ready for display by May 1.

Fine Arts Fair: we have been invited by Gualala Arts to participate by having a booth in the event on May 23 - 24. Sylvia Edwards assured us that we have enough product left over from last year's FOT but she would welcome any donations.

Paper Nor Plastic: Jan Carter reminded us of the workshop she and Harmony Susella are chairing for which the purpose is to make reusable shopping bags.

Janet Windsor passed out tax donation forms for those who contributed to the Threads of Life quilters, and reported that because of the generosity of the Guild and the favorable price offered by Parkside Sewing, we were able to provide five new machines for those quilters.

Show and Tell: Janet Windsor, Kalynn Oleson, and Gail Spencer showed Quilts of Valor; Lenore Sollom, Claire McPherson, Sylvia Edwards (for Linda Warnock), Jan Carter and Sharon Malachowski showed a variety of quilts.

Mary Smith then introduced the guest speaker, Susan Else, who took us on a tour of her whimsical, imaginative universe of three-dimensional figures.
